DIY - Dinosaur Themed Birthday Party

I adore a lovely birthday celebration. For me, it’s all about the details. To be honest, I do a lot of research and consider myself to be a Pinterest researcher. After doing some research to gather some ideas, I create a board, pin as many things as I can, and then filter it down. My children are the center of my universe, and I enjoy making them feel special. My big boy, Ashlen, turned six!

Recognizing this day because this wonderful soul entered the world and made me a mother. It actually makes me cry because it is pure love and happiness. As a result, I also honour this significant day.
Aiden (my little boy) and I spoke about some ideas for his birthday party. I presented Ash with a few options, and we quickly settled on a Dinosaur themed birthday.

Without a question, it was a lovely theme, and we were delighted to have chosen it. Surprise birthdays are fun, and I may arrange one someday, but I prefer my children to be active and participate in events like birthdays.

The Background

I wish I could take credit for this setup, but I simply submitted the concept to Claire’s Magical Parties, a terrific service provider. I spoke with Claire and gave her the colors I wanted for the theme, as well as the white pillars and grass background, and she did not disappoint.

Play-dough Tower

I prepared my own playdough, which panned out great! The gel coloring turned out beautifully, and it brightened up the set noticeably. I used adorable small plastic containers with lids. It was only my immediate family . Play dough in four different colors was given to the children.

The Dino-riffic Snacks

Trail-Mix - Kiddies Version

Popcorn, pretzels, marshmallows, smarties, and gummies were included in the trail mix. I made paper cones and placed them in a sweet little crate.

As I previously stated, I got some great ideas from Pinterest as well as my own creativity.
With the help of some random items, I was able to put together a fun, bright, and totally fab set up.

I used miniature blackboards for the labels, but you can also print your labels.

Woolworths chocolate mousse and crushed oreos were combined in the Pre-historic Dirt tubs.

To make Dino Nests, simply toast desiccated coconut and melted chocolate.
This quickly became one of my favorite treats.

Swamp Juice was just a chocolate milkshake and cream soda milkshake. I did not use pre-made milkshakes. Pick n Pay’s milkshake powder is very tasty when combined with fresh milk.

Dino Eggs were the pretty hens eggs that are generally available at Easter, and since Ashlen’s birthday is in April, we were able to acquire a tray of them.

Being a mother can test you in a variety of ways, all for the better. I hope you enjoyed this post and found it useful in planning a DIY birthday party.
