How to Manifest Financial Freedom When You’re Starting From Zero
I’m letting you in on something.
Not a technique I found on the internet. Not a chapter from a book. Something that was handed to me in a quiet conversation by someone I love — at a moment when I needed it more than she probably knew.
Brew that 5 Roses. Add the hot milk.
This one is personal. 🧡
When Everything Was Piling On
There’s a specific kind of heavy that comes when it’s not just one thing.
It’s not one bill. It’s the bills. It’s not one worry. It’s the worries stacking on top of each other until you can barely breathe underneath them. Until you’re smiling at your kids and doing maths in your head at the same time. Until you’re functioning on the outside and falling apart somewhere quieter.
That was my season.
Everything was piling on. And I was carrying it the way women carry things — quietly, completely, without letting anyone see how much weight it actually was.
The Conversation That Changed Something
I was talking with my sister in law. One of those real conversations — the kind that starts about one thing and ends up somewhere completely different and necessary.
We were talking about mindset. About manifestation. About Robin Banks and his Mind Power work. If you haven’t come across his work yet —
search Robin Banks Mind Power and thank me later. We spoke about The Secret. About the space between where you are and where you want to be and how you close that gap.
And then she stopped.
And she said something so simple that it almost didn’t register at first.
“Every morning when I wake up — this is what I say.”
And she said it.
“I always have more money than I need.”
Not — I will have. Not — I want to have. Not — please let me have.
I always have.
Present tense. Certainty. A quiet settled knowing that doesn’t sound like a wish at all. It sounds like a fact. Like something that has already been decided. Like something she simply knows to be true about herself and her life — and says out loud every morning until her body believes it too.
I sat with that for a moment.
And something shifted.
Why Those Six Words Work
I’ve thought about this a lot since that conversation. About why those specific words hit differently from every other affirmation I had ever heard or read or written in a journal.
And here is what I think.
Most money affirmations come from a place of wanting. Of lack. Of reaching for something that feels far away.
“Money is flowing to me.” — sounds like you’re waiting for it to arrive.
“I am attracting abundance.” — sounds like you’re hoping something will come.
“I always have more money than I need.” — sounds like it’s already done.
There is no desperation in that sentence. No grasping. No please-universe-hear-me energy.
Just certainty.
And certainty — real settled certainty — is the most magnetic frequency there is. Because your brain doesn’t know the difference between what is real and what you have decided is real. It just responds to the signal you send it.
When you say “I always have more money than I need” — you are sending your brain a signal that abundance is your normal. Not your goal. Your normal.
And slowly — not overnight, not magically, but steadily — your brain starts to look for evidence that this is true. Starts to notice opportunities it ignored before. Starts to make decisions from a place of enough instead of a place of never enough.
That is not woo. That is neuroscience.
How To Actually Use It
Here is exactly what I do — and what I would tell you to do starting tonight.
Say it first thing in the morning.
Before you check your phone. Before you look at your messages. Before the day has a chance to hand you something heavy — say it.
Out loud. Not in a whisper. Out loud with the same certainty you would use to tell someone your own name.
“I always have more money than I need.”
Say it like it’s already true. Because you are deciding that it is.
Write it 3 times in the morning. 6 times at lunchtime. 9 times before bed.
This is called the 369 method and the reason it works is simple — repetition rewires. You do not need to believe it fully yet. You just need to write it. Over and over until the belief catches up with the words.
Make it your phone lock screen.
You look at your phone over 100 times a day. That is 100 opportunities for your subconscious to absorb those six words. Open Canva. Make it beautiful. Set it as your wallpaper tonight.
“I always have more money than I need.”
Every time you pick up your phone — there it is. Quiet. Certain. Yours.
Be consistent — not intense.
You do not need to spend hours on this. You need to spend minutes — every single day without skipping. Consistency matters more than intensity. Five focused minutes every morning beats one powerful session once a week every time.
The Part Nobody Talks About
Here is the thing that most manifestation content leaves out.
You can say this affirmation every morning and still cancel it out by lunchtime.
Every time you say “I can’t afford that” — you cancel it.
Every time you say “money is so tight right now” — you cancel it.
Every time you open your banking app already expecting nothing — you cancel it.
I am not saying pretend your reality isn’t what it is. I am saying be conscious of the story you are telling — out loud and in your head — because your brain is building your world around that story every single day.
Start replacing:
“I can’t afford that” → “That’s not where I’m directing my money right now”
“Money is so tight” → “I am building something and I always have more than I need”
“I have nothing” → “I am starting from here and that is enough”
Small replacements. Every day. Until the new story feels more natural than the old one.
And Then — Take Action
I need to say this because I care about you too much to leave it out.
The affirmation opens the door. You still have to walk through it.
“I always have more money than I need” paired with a budget. Paired with a side hustle. Paired with one financial decision today that your future self will thank you for.
Mindset without action is just a beautiful thought.
Mindset plus action is a life that changes.
So say the words. And then do something. Something small. Something real. Something that tells the universe — and yourself — that you mean it.
What My Sister In Law Gave Me
She probably doesn’t know how much that conversation meant.
How those six words landed in exactly the right place at exactly the right time. How I carried them home and started saying them — quietly at first, then louder, then like I believed them, then like I knew them.
I always have more money than I need.
I say it every morning now.
Not because my account already reflects it. But because I am deciding — every single morning — that this is who I am becoming. And the becoming starts with the decision. Not the evidence.
If you are in a season where everything is piling on — I want you to have these words too.
Say them tonight before you sleep.
Say them tomorrow morning before the day begins.
Say them until they feel less like an affirmation and more like a memory of something that was always true.
Because maybe it was. 🧡
